Grant Supports Joint Industrial Research and Development Projects Between Singapore and Israeli Hi-tech Companies; Expands ActionBase’s Presence in Singapore and Asia-Pacific Markets.

Tel Aviv, Israel – June 29, 2009 – ActionBase, a pioneer in Human Process Management Solutions (HPMS), today announced it was awarded a Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (SIIRD) Grant, along with Singapore Technology partner, Imfinity, to develop new functionality for its HPM technology.

SIIRD, a bi-national co-operation program between the Singapore Economic Development Board and the Office of the Chief Scientist Israel, was set up to promote, facilitate and support joint industrial research and development (R&D) projects between companies based in Singapore and Israel.  It has approved close to 90 R&D projects with a total research investment of US$100 million. 
Following the industry's demand of solutions in the Asia-Pacific market that enable organizations to manage unstructured, human processes, ActionBase started its local operations by establishing a network of channel partners to support sales and marketing efforts in Singapore, and as a head- start to its operations in Asia. These business activities were followed by an additional technological partnership with Imfinity, resulting in the SIIRD project in which both companies will jointly cooperate to further develop HPM functionality.
